Mark Hamill continues to advocate for a Carrie Fisher star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. However, this time he is throwing out the idea of removing Donald Trump's and replacing it with one for his late Star Wars co-star. Hamill has been urging for Fisher to have a star for years now and he is totally fine with taking out Trump's to make some room, which might not sit well with some Star Wars fans.

This all started when chairman of The Democratic Coalition, Jon Cooper, asked what people should get Donald Trump for his 73rd birthday, which is tomorrow, June 14th. Mark Hamill responded with the idea of changing Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame to include the word "traitor" and then add a Russian hammer and sickle. Hamill had this to say about his possible present for Trump's big day.

"I'd have his Walk of Fame Star updated & corrected, or even better, replace his with someone who actually deserves one."

That "someone who actually deserves one" is obviously Carrie Fisher. The Princess Leia actress sadly passed away in late 2016 and still does not have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. This isn't the first time Mark Hamill has targeted Donald Trump's star to be replaced with one for Fisher. He did so in 2018 when Star Trek star William Shatner was shocked to discover she did not have one after all of these years. Hamill is not a big fan of the current president and often spends a decent amount of time trolling him on social media.

As for Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame getting removed, that isn't going to happen. This hasn't stopped people from trying to remove it and one time even succeeding. A golden toilet was at one time placed over the star and artist Plastic Jesus made a makeshift border wall around it in reference to Trump's long-promised border wall. The star has been repeatedly vandalized with things we can't really print here and even a board placed on top of the star to prevent vandalism was itself vandalized. None of these acts compare to the time in 2017 when a man took a pickaxe to the star and completely obliterated it.

Donald Trump was awarded the star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame back in 2007 for his work on The Apprentice as a reality TV star. During the ceremony, Trump joked that it was his favorite piece of real estate, though it's probably a close tie between White House and one of his golf courses now. Mark Hamill is still going to fight to get Carrie Fisher a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, but it just isn't going to be Trump's, no matter how hard the Luke Skywalker actor hates the current President of the United States.
