MGM Studios has handed out a March 15, 2013 release date for their upcoming Carrie remake. As of now, the only other movie occupying that date is the Relativity Media comedy 21 and Over starring Miles Teller.

We reported a few weeks ago that Chloe Moretz will play the title role in this horror remake, as the tormented young girl who uses her supernatural abilities to get revenge on those classmates who made fun of her. No other cast members have been announced as of yet, but now that a release date has been set, expect this project to move towards production rather quickly.
