Cary Elwes has joined the star-studded cast of the dark comedy, Georgia Rule for Morgan Creek.

The film, directed by Garry Marshall, also stars Jane Fonda, Felicity Huffman, and Lindsay Lohan. The Hollywood Reporter says the story centers on a rebellious young woman (Lohan) who is sent by her dysfunctional mother (Huffman) to spend a summer with her grandmother (Fonda). Elwes is set to play Huffman's upstanding husband and outstanding citizen who, in secret, molests his stepdaughter (Lohan).

Filming for Georgia Rule is scheduled to begin later this month; a 2007 release has been set.
