According to The Hollywood Reporter, Castle Hill Productions has acquired worldwide theatrical rights to The Tollbooth, a coming-of-age comedy about a young woman who rebels against her Jewish-American family, the company said Tuesday.

The distributor plans a February debut in Manhattan, with a rollout into suburban Long Island and Los Angeles. The film from first-time feature writer and director Debra Kirschner stars Mara Sokoloff (The Practice) as the youngest daughter in a traditional Brooklyn-based family who defies her family's wishes by moving into Manhattan.
