Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke has signed on to direct Appian Way's The Girl With the Red Riding Hood.

According to Variety, the Werewolf movie was written by David Johnson, and is a gothic retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood story, with a teenage love triangle at its center.
