According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS and The Young & the Restless led the nominations for the Daytime Emmy Awards, which will be bestowed April 28 at Hollywood & Highland's Kodak Theatre.

CBS received 59 nominations, the highest of any network, when the list was announced live on ABC's daytime talker The View, which received a nomination for daytime talk show. ABC received 37 nominations, PBS earned 31, and NBC received 20. Syndicated programs gathered in a total of 46 nominations. Among shows, CBS cleaned up with 18 nominations for Y&R, 14 for Guiding Light and 12 for As the World Turns. Twelve nominations also went to ABC's General Hospital.
