CBS has added two new potential series' to its development line-up. According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS has greenlit the medical drama The Eastmans and another from The Shield creator Shawn Ryan, Confessions of a Contractor.

The Eastmans, written by Margaret Nagle, centers on a family of doctors and is the third medical-related pilot the network has greenlit this pilot season, behind Three Rivers and Jerry Bruckheimer's Miami Trauma.

Confessions of a Contractor is based off the book by Richard Murphy, who also wrote the pilot, and deals with the exploits of a successful Los Angeles contractor. Shawn Ryan will executive produce alongside Murphy, Jeff Okin and Paul Green.

No production schedule was given for either pilot.
