Channing Tatum has a reputation for being a very sexy dude. He's also known for his whip-smart comedy chops, which he's put on display in the 21 Jump Street movies. Now, he can add another talent to the list. And that's being able to scare kids better than the Boogey Man. Channeling his inner-Victor Salva, the actor looked like a real creep after climbing into what he at first thought was just an innocent child-friendly Halloween costume.

What was supposed to be a magical time of year turned into a real nightmare for Tatum's young daughter when he decided to drop by her Halloween carnival. The Hundred Acre Woods will never be the same after Channing Tatum decided to go with a store bought outfit, not having the time to make his own. The infamous bear certainly got a make-over, though we're not sure Christopher Robin or Piglet would approve. The results of Channing Tatum's costume attempts are both hilarious and terrifying. While you might want a shirtless Channing grinding on your lap at any given social occasion, this is one version of the actor you would not want staring at you through your kitchen window.

Children's movies and Horror films are two genres Channing Tatum has stayed away from his entire career. Yet, he seamlessly blends both elements into this get-up. The closest Channing has ever come to family entertainment is the G.I. Joe movies. But he did voice one of the main characters in last year's animated musical The Book of Life. That film did have a few horror elements as well, as it's set around the Day of the Dead. unlike other Hollywood contemporaries, he did not have to appear in any slasher flicks to pay his dues.

The actor will next be seen in this December's Western The Hateful Eight. Though, it's not expected that he has a very large role in this action drama directed by Quentin Tarantino. Earlier this year, Channing Tatum appeared in Jupiter Ascending, which didn't exactly set the box office on fire. He redeemed himself this past summer with the sequel Magic Mike XXL. It was a hit with fans and critics alike. Coming up next year, he'll star in the Coen Brothers comedy Hail, Caesar! And then he'll play the Cajun Mutant Gambit.

We've seen a lot of big Hollywood stars don costumes for various reasons, but Channing Tatum's attempts at channeling his inner Pooh bear failed quite miserably. As you can see from his own Twitter he enjoyed giving the little ones a good fright. What do you think? Is Channing Tatum extremely scary? Or just too sexy to be obscured by this gross costume?
