Rumors about who would play Marvel's Thunder God in the Kenneth Branagh-directed Thor have been flying fast and furious for some time now, with Alexander Skarsgard considered by many to be the front runner for the role. Now, according to IGN, Charlie Hunnam has not only been in talks for the part, but has actually screen-tested for the part.

Asked whether or not his screen test involved running around with a helmet and a hammer, Hunnam replied with a smile "Something like that."

Hunnam went on to say that while he didn't know what the status of the casting was, but that his pople have been in talks with Marvel. He also believes that the reason for the delay on Thor is to ensure that the casting decision made is the best possible one for the film franchise.
