According to Variety, Working Title Films has set Charles McDougall, Emmy-nominated for directing the pilot episode of "Desperate Housewives," to direct the comedy Below the Fold.
Below the Fold transfers the action to the workplace. A group of journalists write a romance novel under the pseudonym Penelope Ash. When the book becomes an overnight success, they hire the editor's secretary to pretend she is the author.
David Sussman, Geoff McRae and Michael Southern penned the script. Chris Clark and Liza Chasin are supervising the project.
