Although Daredevil’s Marvel return in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law heralded the arrival of a new costume for Charlie Cox’s superhero, it looks like he may be getting another change of suit in Daredevil: Born Again. While appearing with co-star Vincent D’Onofrio at GalaxyCon, Cox seemed to let slip that he had been trying on something new for the series while on a Facetime call with his children. Cox said:

"I FaceTimed with my son and my daughter, and my son's only three, and he was watching me try this outfit on, and of course he was trying to figure it out, he had all these questions. And the first question was 'Daddy, can you fly?' And I felt myself not wanting to let him down, so I ended up saying, 'Well, not right now.'"

There is still a lot to be revealed about the new Daredevil series, and there has still been no one quite able to fully confirm whether the series has any relation to the Netflix series or not. Some people have said that it is like a fourth season of the show, others have said it is chapter one of something new. What is true is that although Cox and D’Onofrio will be reprising their roles as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk, many of the other characters will be either recast or not feature at all.

With filming now underway on the new Daredevil series, it looks like the cast have been getting to know a bit more about what will be happening in the show. While speaking with Newsweek, Vincent D’Onofrio explained how fans will get to see something much different this time around. He said:

"We've only just started shooting. I think we're a couple weeks in, and the show is going to be very, very different than the Netflix show, and it's so exciting because what we're doing is quite something. I think it's something that people are not going to expect. But, always with these Marvel old comic stories that are being revisited and reinvented by us actors, and the writers, the main thing is to answer the fans. To give them what they want but try to be original in some way at the same time, and so that's what we're doing on the show. It's definitely an original way to look at this, and it's really deep, really emotional."

The actor also dropped a very big hint that unlike many Disney+ shows, there is already a plan for a second season of Daredevil in the works with some “big pay-offs” to come. This could also link in to a new rumor that D’Onofrio’s Kingpin is going to be a big part of a number of MCU projects in the future, as he rises to power as the Mayor of New York. For now though, filming on Daredevil: Born Again will continue through much of this year with the series currently expected to air sometime in late 2024.
