Aeon Flux: The Associated Press reported, while shooting Paramount Picture’s adaptation of Aeon Flux, Oscar winning actress, Charlize Theron, was injured in Berlin, Germany. A studio spokeswoman confirmed that it occurred Monday while the actress was doing her own stunts. The cause or severity of the injury hasn't been made clear.

"She did sustain an injury on the set. It's a very physically demanding role," Theron’s publicist said.

The Associated Press reports, filming has come to a halt until her recovery. It is also not clear whether script changes are necessary or when the movie production will continue.

Set 400 years in the future, Aeon Flux occurs at a time when the majority of the earth’s population has fallen victim to disease with the exception of Bregna, a city-state protected by walls and ruled by scientists. The film was based on the MTV animated series and created by Peter Chung.

Theron plays the lead character Aeon Flux who is apart of the underground rebellion against the remaining government.
