This Saturday, July 15, 2006 the Los Angeles Free Clinic will host the 9th annual "Extravaganza of the Senses" wine and food charity fundraiser at the 20th Century Fox Studios (10201 West Pico, West Los Angeles 90035).

This year, Academy-award winning actress Charlize Theron ("Monster") will serve as the honorary chair of the event. The event is one of the largest wine and food tastings in Los Angeles. More than 2,000 people in attendance will enjoy wine, cocktails, beer and food from over 100 participating wineries and 40 of the best restaurants in the city!

More than 200 items have been donated for the silent auction, including several entertainment related items including walk-on roles in hit television shows and autographed celebrity items.

General Admission (7PM-10PM) tickets at $90 each. Includes parking and samplings of a wide array of food and wines.

VIP Admission (6PM-10PM) tickets at $200. VIP tickets includes early VIP entry at 6pm, VIP parking, and a special seating area.

Celebrating its 40th anniversary, the Los Angeles Free Clinic provides a full range of high quality free medical, dental and social services to the homeless, the uninsured, the working poor, and high-risk youth. The Clinic provides over 78,000 patient visits annually that include a wide range of health services for men, women and children. Thousands utilize the Clinic as a medical home as they have nowhere else to turn for health and human services.

The Extravaganza for the Senses is one of The Los Angeles Free Clinic's largest annual fundraisers. The event generated more than $200,000 last year for the Clinic's vital services. The Clinic believes that health care is a right, not a privilege.
