It's been awhile since we've seen anything new from G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, but that's all changing now. With a teaser trailer promised to air during the Superbowl, a set of five new character posters have also been revealed courtesy of Paramount Pictures. Check out the posters below.

G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra is scheduled for an August 7, 2009 release. The film stars Ray Parks, Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Said Taghmaoui, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Marlon Wayans, Channing Tatum, Dennis Quiad, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Arnold Vosloo, Karolina Isela Kurkov, Byung Hun Lee and Christopher Eccleston.
