Cheech & Chong: After the huge success of films like "Friday" and it's follow-ups, it seemed only a matter of time before these two cinematic slackers made a return to the silver screen. Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong have just signed a deal with New Line to co-write a new adventure for the pot-smoking pair. The project which is still untitled, will be their first together since making "The Corsican Brothers". The film will be produced by Chong's daughter Robbie.
Deathlok: Marvel Studios and Paramount Pictures have signed director Lee Tamahori to this feature based on the comic of the same name.
Kidman: Actress Nicole Kidman, who has been busy, busy, busy lately, has run into a scheduling conflict which may keep her from joining Brad Pitt in "Mr. and Mrs. Smith."
The film, to be directed by Doug Liman ("The Bourne Identity") is about a bored married couple who find out that they are both assassins hired to kill eachother, is scheduled to start as soon as Pitt finishes "Troy". Catherine Zeta-Jones is said to be prepared to take on the role if Kidman bows out. Zeta-Jones starts "Terminal" for Steven Spielberg opposite Tom Hanks next month.
