NBC announced that Emmy winner and comedy superstar Chevy Chase (Caddyshack, Fletch) begins filming this week on NBC's Law & Order.
Chase guest stars as a television celebrity who is pulled over for drunk driving while wearing blood-soaked clothes, and whose religious prejudice comes out after his arrest. The episode titled "In Vino Veritas" is slated to air on Friday, November 3, 10-11 p.m ET/PT.
Chase first came to national prominence as a writer and performer with the original cast of NBC's Saturday Night Live, for which he won two Emmy Awards. He has since starred in more than 20 films, including Foul Play, Caddy Shack, National Lampoon's Vacation and its three sequels, Fletch and The Three Amigos. Most recently, Chase started opposite Naomi Watts in Ellie Parker, which premiered at last year's Sundance Film Festival. He will next be seen the in the comedy Funny Money, which opened this year's Sarasota Film Festival in March.
