Maybe we will soon see Chloe Grace Moretz return to the world of superheroes. A former child star, Moretz's breakout role was in the comic book adaptation Kick-Ass as the fan favorite Hit-Girl. She followed up the 2010 film by reprising her role in the 2013 sequel Kick-Ass 2. She has been working regularly in film since, though Moretz has yet to make her debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

In a new interview with ComicBook.com, Moretz confirms that she has in fact had some talks with Marvel Studios about joining the MCU, though she doesn't clarify if these were general talks or if there was a specific movie or role they had in mind. She did suggest that she hasn't found the right role just yet to be a part of the MCU, and while she says it'd be fun to play another superhero, she's more intrigued by the idea of playing a supervillain.

"Yeah, we've talked a little bit about it. I mean, I think for me, I would be really interested in playing a villain in Marvel or DC, and jumping into more of the darker side of the role. I love a superhero. I think that'd be really fun, too, but I think it's just all about finding the one that really matches what you're wanting to get across, and the scope of the character. I think it'd be really fun if it was the right role and the right project."

Moretz hasn't written off a Hit-Girl return, either. During an appearance on The Tonight Show last year, Moretz said she'd be on board for Kick-Ass 3 if that ever ends up coming together, so as long as the other stars of the franchise return as well.

"I mean I think I would love to do a Kick-Ass 3. I think it'd be really fun to see where Hit-Girl goes, and what she's like as an adult. But I think it would have to be kind of perfect. I feel like it would need to be, across the board, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Chris Mintz-Plasse and the whole crew back together... I think it would be a lot of fun."
