With Carrie hitting theaters next Friday, Chloe Moretz is looking for her next project in Sacha Gervasi's upcoming adaptation of Sam Munson's young adult novel The November Criminals.

The book centers on 18-year-old Addison Schacht, who is a high-school senior in Washington D.C. The student plans on applying to the University of Chicago, but is sidetracked when a fellow classmate is killed in a senseless shooting. He takes it upon himself to begin an investigation and find the murderer. Chloe Moretz will be portraying the female lead of Phoebe. No male lead has been announced as of yet.

Chloe Moretz also starred in Kick-Ass 2 and will next be seen in Sony's action drama The Equalizer alongside Denzel Washington. Sacha Gervasi is directing from a script he reworked from an original draft provided by Steven Knight. Indian Paintbrush's Steven M. Rales is producing with Beth O'Neil.

No production schedule has been announced.
