Here's your chance to find out more about Chloe Moretz, the actress set to take the role of Hit-Girl in the upcoming adaptation of Mark Millar's Kick-Ass, directed by Matthew Vaughn. It turns out that Ms. Moretz has her very own blog, and on it she talks a bit about her preparation for the film.

Chloe writes:

...It is the most fun thing. I have had cool wardrobe fittings and hair consults and tomorrow we start rehearsals. I got to meet Nic Cage who plays Big Daddy (Hit Girl's father) and he is the nicest man. I loved talking with he and Matthew Vaughn about all of their ideas for the film. THis film is going to be soooooooooooooo much FUN! My costume is so great. I do have my work cut out for me though because it is a HUGE role but I am definitely up for it. I love working hard. I will be here for about 3 months. Well, actually, I will be in Toronto for 3 weeks to train martial arts and to do a few days of exterior shots then back to London. The whole thing should wrap here in London around the first week of December.

So, it sounds like Moretz is excited about the film, and it certainly seems like Vaughn and company intend to keep the film high on action and fighting, which should please fans of the comic.

Kick-Ass follows the story of a 15-year-old boy named Dave Lizewski who, despite living in the "real world", decides to become a superhero. The film was co-written and is being directed by Matthew Vaughn. Already signed to the cast are Aaron Johnson, Lyndsy Fonseca, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Nicolas Cage.
