Back in April, we reported that production will begin in February 2016 on Guardians of the Galaxy 2, which will bring back the stars of last year's Guardians of the Galaxy, Chris Pratt (Star-Lord), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Dave Bautista (Drax the Destroyer), Vin Diesel (Groot) and Bradley Cooper (Rocket Raccoon). Marvel hasn't officially announced plans for a third Guardians of the Galaxy movie yet, but if the sequel is as successful as the first, it wouldn't be too surprising if Marvel announced a third installment in 2017 after Guardians of the Galaxy 2 hits theaters. While promoting his upcoming adventure Jurassic World, Chris Pratt revealed that he has signed on for three Guardians of the Galaxy in total, plus "another couple" movies in the MCU, which could be either spinoffs featuring his Star-Lord character, or even the two-part Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2.

"I'm tied to doing three more, or five more, Guardians of the Galaxy or whatever it is, you know, two more Guardians plus another couple."

While it's certainly possible that Chris Pratt's Star-Lord could appear in one or both of the Infinity War movies, there is also a strong possibility that he could also pop up in Marvel's other upcoming cosmic adventures, such as Captain Marvel or Inhumans, slated for release in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Marvel is well-known for locking down their stars to multi-picture deals, but we'll have to wait and see what other movies the actor is signed on for. Chris Pratt also revealed that he recently met with director James Gunn to discuss Guardians of the Galaxy 2 for the first time, and while he wouldn't delve into any specifics regarding the story, the actor had this to say about his director.

"I got teary-eyed. He's so [frick]ing smart and peculiar. [Gunn] just knows me too well to tell me too much."

What do you think the other two movies on Chris Pratt's Marvel contract could be? Could he be popping up in movies that have already been announced, or is Marvel planning something else for the global superstar? Chime in with your thoughts below, and stay tuned for more on Guardians of the Galaxy 2.
