Nigel Cole is gearing up to make the film Five Dollars a Day. According to Variety, both Christopher Walken and Alessandro Nivola have signed on to star in the caper.

The film revolves around a con artist who must compete against his more conservative son. Walken will play a man proud of the fact that he can live like a king on $5 a day. Nivola will play his son, who has been sent to prison for one of the crimes his father committed.

Neal and Tippi Dobrofsky wrote the script. Five Dollars a Day starts shooting on September 10th in New Mexico and Atlantic City, New Jersey.
