Christopher Walken has signed a deal to co-star with Dan Fogler in Rogue Films Balls of Fury, a comedy about a ping pong player written by Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant, the creators of Reno 911.

According to Variety, Walken plays Fang, an evil crime lord who is also a ping pong enthusiast. Dan Fogler, the Tony-winning star of "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee," plays a disgraced player enlisted by the CIA to join a tournament held in Fang's lair. Thomas Lennon will also act as the comeback kid's East German enemy.

Balls of Fury will start shooting in June.
