After years upon years of delays, it looks like Sony might be ready to move forward with their long-awaited Ghostbusters sequel, with Zombieland director Ruben Fleischer reportedly circling the project. Screenwriter Etan Cohen revealed earlier this month that he is currently working on the script with producer Ivan Reitman, although a new rumor surfaced earlier this week that Chronicle writer Max Landis was brought on for the latest rewrites. But the writer shot down the report with the following tweets.

However, the writer was asked repeatedly by his Twitter followers what his Ghostbusters pitch would have been. In a barrage of tweets from early this morning to late in the afternoon, Max Landis broke down his Ghostbusters idea for all to see.

So what do you think? Would you pay to see Max Landis' version of Ghostbusters? Chime in with your thoughts below.
