It's been a long time since Fight Club came out, but another Chuck Palahniuk novel is finally going into production. According to, the author emailed the website a few days ago with the news.

Palahniuk says that the film will start shooting on June 18th. Sam Rockwell will be playing the main character, with Clark Gregg directing. Gregg adapted the screenplay.

The story follows the adventures of a man who pretends to choke while dining in expensive restaurants so that he doesn't have to pay the bill. He is broke because he has to pay for his mother's hospital bills. Glenn Close is rumored to be up for the role of the mother. Annette Benning and Julian Moore are also being considered.
