Cinemax is in development to produce another original crime drama project called Sandbox, from writers Andre Fabrizio, Stephen Kronish and Jeremy Passmore.

Sandbox revolves around a group of Iraq and Afghanistan war veterans who return home to the Coachella Valley to find the town overrun by criminals. The group opts to clean up the community using the skills they learned in combat.

Stephen Kronish, Larry Gordon and Charles Gordon are set to help produce the project.

No details on casting or production date have been revealed.
