In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Columbia is currently circling the movie rights for the book Eat, Pray, Love.

The project is currently in turnaround from Paramount Pictures. It is based on a memoir from Elizabeth Gilbert titled, Eat, Pray, Love: One Woman's Search for Everything Across Italy, India and Indonesia.

Film looks at a married woman who decides she wants a different life, so she leaves her husband and travels the world.

Columbia is also trying to attach talent to the project. Currently the studio is talking with Julia Roberts to star, and Ryan Murphy, to write and direct.

Brad Pitt and Dede Gardner, are slated to produce via their Plan B production company.
