Columbia Pictures has picked up the comedy, Moon People.
The spec is from Demetri Martin, who will write the script and star in the film as well; James Bobin (Da Ali G Show) is set to direct. According to Variety, Moon People focuses on a group of people who return to assimilate on Earth years after they were sent to colonize the moon.
There's no production schedule yet for Moon People.
