Following Season 6 that debuted earlier this year, Crackle is getting ready to roll out Season 7 of their hit original series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, which debuts December 30 with a very special guest: President Barack Obama. Crackle also released a trailer for the new season, along with a photo of the President and Jerry Seinfeld. Here's what series star and creator Jerry Seinfeld had to say in a statement about getting President Obama to come on board for his web series.

"Growing up in the '60s my kid dream was always to be an astronaut-doing a comedy show with President Obama in and around the White House felt like going into space. 'How did I get here?' 'Is this really happening?' The President's humor and generosity are the only reasons this was even possible. He was so easy and fun to be with. Being President and just a cool guy to hang out with at the same time made the experience my own personal moonwalk. It was an unforgettable day."

In most Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee episodes, Jerry Seinfeld takes his comedian guests out for a spin in a classic car. In the Season 7 premiere, which streams on Crackle December 30 at 11:30 PM ET, the comedian and Barack Obama never left the White House for this episode, but they did get to drive a classic vehicle. They both took turns circling the White House's South Lawn in a 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe, before touring the Map, Diplomatic and China Rooms of the White House.

Other guests that will be featured in this new season of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee include Will Ferrell, Steve Martin, Garry Shandling, Kathleen Madigan and Sebastian Maniscalco. Episodes will debut every Wednesday night at 11:30 PM ET on Crackle. We reported last April that the web series was renewed through Season 9, with Crackle debuting two six-episode seasons per year.

Last week, Barack Obama appeared on a special episode of NBC's Running Wild with Bear Grylls, which was filmed back in September. The new episode of Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee was filmed on December 7, which also includes a conversation between the President and Jerry Seinfeld in a staff dining room, where they discussed life in the White House. We also have a photo from this upcoming episode, which you can check out below the trailer. What do you think about Barack Obama teaming up with Jerry Seinfeld for Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee?
