There will be plenty of parties at this year's Comic-Con. Not a single night will pass without at least one free drink traipsing through your sweaty little fingers. Some of these so-called "events" will be good. Some might even be great. And some will shuck the foreskin off your face like a hooker making her rounds at midnight. But there will only be one event that Comic-Con attendees will be talking about for years to come. Its already reaching legendary status, and it hasn't even happened yet. Yes, it is the epic San Diego Comic-Con Afterparty simply known as: The Wrath of Con!

Masters of The Web: The Wrath of Con Afterparty

Hosted by IESB.net, Bloody-Disgusting.com, and Lakeshore Entertainment, this exciting soiree will see the biggest names in the Internet community joining forces with Hollywood's hottest celebrities. Attendees will be able to mingle alongside the stars of such genre favorites as J.J. Abrams' Star Trek, Heroes, 300, Crank 2: High Voltage, Game, Underworld 3: The Rise of the Lycans, and Laid to Rest. So many big names have already RSVP'd to the event that some celebs have been turned away from the swarthy affair. But guess what? You, dear Comic Con attendee, might be able to join in the fun despite it all.

That's right! Even though you are just some slobbish, slug of a nobody sweating your way through another tiring film panel, if you play your cards right, you might be rubbing your greasy, pit-stained elbows with such special guests as Jason Statham (Death Race), Len Wiseman (Live Free or Die Hard), Devin Faraci aka The Internet (Chud), Rhona Mitra (Doomsday), David Goyer (writer of The Dark Knight), Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes, Rocky Balboa), Robert Sanchez (IESB), Derek Mears (Friday the 13th), Bill Nighy (Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, Hot Fuzz), John Cho (Star Trek, Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay), Simon Pegg (Star Trek), Sophie Monk (The Hills Run Red), Efren Ramirez (Napoleon Dynamite), Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), Lena Headey (300, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles), Thomas Dekker (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Heroes), Patrick Tatopoulos (director of Underworld 3: The Rise of the Lycans), Mark Neveldine & Brian Taylor (directors of Game), Corey Haim (Lost Boys: The Tribe), Kellvin Chavez (Latino Review), Corey Feldman (Lost Boys: The Tribe), Bai Ling, Edgar Wright (Spaced, Hot Fuzz), Kal Penn (Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay), Angus Sutherland (Lost Boys: The Tribe), Tad Hildebrink (Lost Boys: The Tribe, The Hills Run Red), Brain Gallagher (Splatter Films), and Scott Ian of Anthrax (with many more to be confirmed).

How is this possible, you ask? It's simple. In conjunction with the party, Robert Sanchez of IESB.net is holding his second annual Masters of the Web panel. During which, the biggest and brightest names in the Internet community will be gathering to talk shop. On hand will be Mr. Sanchez himself (IESB); Garth Franklin (Dark Horizons); Mike Sampson (Joblo); Erik Davis (Cinematical); John Campea (The Movie Blog); Brad Miska (Bloody Disgusting); Eric "Quint" Vespe (AICN); Devin Faraci aka The Internet (Chud); our very own Paulington J. Christensen III (Movieweb) and Kellvin Chavez (Latino Review). Moderating the event this year will be Brian Taylor and Mark Neveldine, who will also be bringing some never-before-seen footage from their two upcoming, highly anticipated action films Crank 2: High Voltage and Game. When you, average everyday filmgoer who could only ever dream of attending such a party, show up for the Masters of the Web panel, you will be given a chance to win a much sought after ticket to this highly coveted event.

Sometime during the Webmaster discussion, a trivia contest will be held, and a total of twenty tickets will be given away. Things will kick off in Room 32AB at 10am Thursday morning, and you will want to make sure you get there early, because there is no telling when these tickets will be handed out. Possibly before the event happens. Maybe in the middle of it. Heck, some tickets might even be handed out afterwards. The only thing you'll have to do is know the answer to such questions as "Who plays the character known as Randy in Crank 2: High Voltage?" and also be attending the convention on Saturday (the day of the party).

Yes, that's right, if you want to attend the party, you will have to confirm that you are staying througout the weekend to get one of these much sought after tickets. The Wrath of Con will be taking place at the Hard Rock Hotel on July 26th at 9 pm and the craziness will run through one in the morning. With a parting gift bag full of swag from San Diego Harley Davidson, Lakeshore Entertainment, Anchor Bay, Bustelo Cafe, Film.com, Sideshow Collectibles, Dark Horse Comics, and Bif Bang Pow!, you know you don't want to miss this one. It is going to fruck so hard, It'll knock up your grandma! Plus, Brian Gallagher from Splatter Films is going to be there. Tell me that doesn't just eat the cake, but turd it too!
