DreamWorks Animation chief creative officer Bill Damaschke presented the studio's upcoming slate during their Hall H panel at Comic-Con today, where they confirmed that Kung Fu Panda 3 is in the works.

The franchise was launched in 2008 with Kung Fu Panda, which starred Jack Black as the panda bear Po, who trains with Master Shifu (Dustin Hoffman) to fulfill his destiny of becoming a great kung fu warrior. The animated adventure took in $631 million worldwide, and paved the way for last year's Kung Fu Panda 2, which earned $665 million worldwide.

The studio didn't not confirm any casting, although it seems likely that Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman will return, along with Furious Five cast members Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Viper (Lucy Liu), Crane (David Cross), and Monkey (Jackie Chan).
