No one has stated the obvious yet. Vin Diesel is the voice of Ultron in The Avengers: Age of Ultron. At least all signs point in that direction. Early in June, the actor revealed to fans that he had taken a meeting with Marvel, dropping hints that he would be in The Avengers 2. Then, he told numerous press people that a major clue was right around the corner, followed by this statement made during his Comic-Con 2013 panel for Riddick.

"There's going to be very big news coming out at the end of this month."

This was quickly followed by Joss Whedon's announcement that The Avengers 2 was going to officially be titled The Avengers: Age of Ultron.

Fans began to speculate that Vin Diesel is going to play Vision, an android created by Ultron. But no one has really put two and two together, that Ultron may very well be personified by the actor instead.

Why do we think so? One, which people in the know are quick to point out, is that Vin Diesel is wrong for the part of Vision. But more importantly, Joss Whedon has been pretty straight with fans, and he's gone on record stating Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch are the only two main new additions to the Avengers team. Its very unlikely that we'll see Vision in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, as the earth-destroying android is also getting a brand new origin story.

Watch this video, and tell us Vin Diesel wouldn't sound pitch perfect as this sentient robot out to kill the Avengers team.

What do you think? Is Vin Diesel the voice of Ultron? Will he play the character as motion capture? Or is Marvel going to paint him Vision green and let him lay sloppy kisses on the much younger Saoirse Ronan as Scarlet Witch?
