Ant-Man director Peyton Reed and cast members Michael Douglas (Hank Pym) and Paul Rudd (Scott Lang), along with Corey Stoll and Evangeline Lilly descended upon the Comic-Con crowd in Hall H today, and even though shooting doesn't begin until August 18, they did share a little something with the fans, a brief glimpse at test footage with Michael Douglas and Paul Rudd.

The Ant-Man footage begins with a shot through a laboratory, where we see numerous beakers filled with different colored liquids, along with a glass cage with an anthill inside. The footage cuts to a rooftop where we see Ant-Man there in his shrunken state, but it seems he is being pursued by full-sized humans. Lang is petrified, which leads Pym to say, "Geez Lang. You'd think someone only shrunk your balls." An ant lands and Scott Lang climbs on his back, petrified, as we can hear Pym talking to Lang through the helmet. It appears that Lang may be inside a computer, as we hear Pym telling Lang to jump off a huge ledge, as Lang tries to talk to the ant. When he jumps off the ledge, the flying ant comes up to catch him, as the film's logo comes up.

Of course, it isn't known if this test footage will be made available online, but we'll keep you posted. In the meantime, you can check out these tweets showing Robert Downey Jr. tossing roses to the crowd on the Hall H stage.

The panel kicked off with a montage of Marvel footage that opens with various heroic moments from previous Marvel Cinematic Universe movies, such as Iron Man, The Incredible HulkThor,Captain America: The First Avenger and Marvel's The Avengers, along with the iconic villains such as Red Skull and Loki, before moving onto the Phase Two movies Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, Captain America: The Winter Soldier. They also showed Thanos' brief cameo in Marvel's The Avengers, before moving into footage from Guardians of the Galaxy, including a shot of Thanos on his throne.

Moderator Chris Hardwick is joined by Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige, who tells the fans that he can't believe Guardians of the Galaxy is Marvel Studios' 10th movie. He also mentions that this panel will be focusing on their 2015 movies, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man.

The producer introduces Ant-Man director Peyton Reed and cast members Michael Douglas (Hank Pym) and Paul Rudd (Scott Lang), along with Corey Stoll and Evangeline Lilly, whose mysterious characters have finally been confirmed as Darren Cross/Yellowjacket and Hope Van Dyne, the daughter of Hank Pym. It was rumored last month that Yellowjacket was the primary villain, but it was never confirmed until now.

Paul Rudd revealed that he has a hard time wrapping his mind about the excitement he has for the project, while Michael Douglas says that he is "envious" of those who work on Marvel movies, because he never gets to work with special effects. He also confirmed new story details that have been previously rumored, that the plot centers on a heist and Hank is mentoring Scott to become the new Ant-Man. Corey Stoll's Darren Cross is taking Pym's company in a different, more sinister direction, which is what lead Pym to take Scott Lang under his wing.

Evangeline Lilly, on the other hand, hasn't even read the script, yet, even though production is scheduled to begin on August 18, although she did admit that she has been dodging questions about the movie all week. Kevin Feige also confirmed that Darren Cross will transform into Yellowjacket in Ant-Man in the movie.

Stay tuned for more details about Ant-Man as we get closer to production starting on August 18 in Atlanta.
