During Marvel's massive Hall H panel, the main cast of Avengers: Age of Ultron took to the stage, along with Kevin Feige. Even though production is still ongoing, the producer and cast had a little treat for the fans, the first footage from this highly-anticipated sequel!

First off, we reported last month that the opening moments of the sequel include a party scene at the Avengers tower, which gets ruined when Ultron (James Spader) himself shows up. The scenes that were shown take place at this party, with all of the Avengers in their civilian clothes, as each of them take turns trying to lift Thor's (Chris Hemsworth) enchanted hammer, Mjolnir. Tony (Robert Downey Jr.) tries and fails, and he even can't make the hammer budge with his Iron Man hand and War Machine. Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) fails to move the hammer, although Captain America (Chris Evans) does get it to budge ever so slightly. Just then, a loud noise distracts them as Ultron crashes the party, offering the following ultimatum.

"There's only one path to peace. Your extinction!"

From there, the footage moves into a montage of shots including Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) in her new suit, what appears to be Bruce in a straightjacket, and tanks fighting in the snow. Tony Stark says, "It's the end. The end of the path I've started us on," when Black Widow replies, "Nothing lasts forever." Fans also got to see the Hulkbuster armor in action, squaring off against Banner in full Hulk mode, while Ultron appears again, seemingly in his ultimate form, saying, "Look, no string on me." The montage ends with a shot of Tony in a desolate wasteland, standing over all of the other Avengers who lay battered and bloodied around him.

After the scenes were shown, fans were treated to yet another surprise, when Robert Downey Jr. said, "The thing about Marvel is they always have something up their sleeve. We've got Thanos." Just then, Josh Brolin, who played Thanos in Guardians of the Galaxy, took the stage, wearing the Infinity Gauntlet! Take a look at a few images from the panel, then read on for more details that were revealed in Hall H today.

Before all of the footage was shown, the cast revealed a few intriguing tidbits about the production and the story, including Chris Evans stating that Captain America is now finally "caught up" with the world. As you may recall, Steve had a "list" of items to catch up with in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which he missed during his lengthy slumber. He adds that now S.H.I.E.L.D. is gone, The Avengers is the only thing he has left

Paul Bettany, who plays Vision, has a much different experience on this Marvel movie, where he has to actually show up on the set instead of voicing his lines in a recording booth, like he did for J.A.R.V.I.S.

"I used to just turn up in a dark room, read some lines and they've hand me a bag of cash."

James Spader is the newest addition to this talented and diverse cast, playing the villainous Ultron, a role he has never had to tackle before.

"I used to think that life could never get weird or crazy enough for me. But this is the weirdest, craziest place. "I play an eight-foot robot in this movie. I had always played humans up until then."
