When the Thursday Comic-Con schedule was announced earlier this month, it was confirmed that Sony Pictures will be showcasing their young adult adaptation Goosebumps (August 7, 2015) and Pixels (May 15, 2015). Some were surprised that Neill Blomkamp's Chappie wasn't listed as part of the festivities, since it opens on March 27, 2015. However, Collider has revealed that Chappie will be featured on a massive banner inside the San Diego Convention Center lobby, which gives fans a first look at the title robot, voiced by Sharlto Copley, who is kidnapped by two South African gangsters.

Check out several different looks at this massive banner, then read on for more information.

This banner may be hinting that Chappie is one of Sony's surprise, unannounced additions to their Thursday panel, which takes place at 12:30 PM in Hall H on Thursday, July 24. We won't know for sure until Thursday afternoon, but we'll keep you posted as more information comes in.

Dev Patel, Hugh Jackman, Sigourney Weaver, Jose Pablo Cantillo and Brandon Auret co-star in Chappie, which Neill Blomkamp is directing from a script he co-wrote with his writing partner Terri Tatchell.
