Common, the hip-hop artist turned actor, remains hopeful that George Miller's Justice League of America will be ready to begin shooting soon. Caught up to by JFX Online, Common was asked about the film and his role as John Stewart/Green Lantern.
Common responded "Now that the writers strike is over, [the script is] going to head back to the writers for a cleanup. God willing, it'll get done. This would be a big role for me."
On the heels of yesterday's news that Australian officials still may be expecting to begin shooting Justice League of America in the summer, perhaps the film isn't as dead as we might have feared - depending on the severity of the planned re-writes.
