Confessions of a ShopaholicIt turned out to be a good week for female shoppers on the home video charts this week. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Confessions of a Shopaholic was the top-selling DVD on the national DVD sales charts, for the week ending June 28. A lack of competition, however, made for some unusual inclusions on the rest of the charts, though.

The Code, a straight-to-DVD thriller starring Morgan Freeman, was the top rental of the week, bumping last week's top rental, Gran Torino, to fourth place in rentals behind Confessions of a Shopaholic and another new release, Inkheart.

With last week's huge theatrical release of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, its predecesor returned to the home video charts. Transformers ended up on third place on the DVD sales charts, behind last week's winner, Gran Torino in second place and Transformers also finished the week atop the Blu-ray sales charts, with 21% of the discs sold during the week in the Blu-ray format.
