Tired of being walked all over, Roger (Jon Heder), a dejected traffic cop, enrolls in a "confidence building" class. Hoping to win the affection of Amanda (Jacinda Barrett), the girl with whom he is in love, Roger and the rest of his classmates get much more than they bargained for when their professor (Billy Bob Thornton) exhibits some unusual teaching methods and sets his own sights on Amanda.
From director Todd Phillips (Old School) comes the laugh-out-loud comedy about going from zero to hero, School for Scoundrels, arriving February 13, 2007 from Genius Products LLC. and Dimension Films. Starring Billy Bob Thornton (Bad Santa) as Dr. P, a maniacal confidence-building instructor, and Jon Heder (Napoleon Dynamite) as Roger, a hapless meter clerk who enrolls in his class, School for Scoundrels is a prank-filled laugher pitting teacher against student for the ultimate prize - the girl!! The film also stars Jacinda Barrett (The Last Kiss) as the object of their affection, Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile) as Dr. P's cruel henchman and Horatio Sanz (Saturday Night Live) as Roger's fellow classmate. The School for Scoundrels DVD will be available in unrated and theatrical versions and includes an alternate ending, a hilarious gag reel and more (see details below).
