Synopsis:

In "this truly terrifying film" (E!), man's darkest fears are manifested as an unspeakable horror is unleashed on the world! U.S. diplomat Robert Thorn substitutes an orphan for his own stillborn baby in order to spare his unknowing wife.  But after a series of grotesque murders and dire warnings, the Thorns come to the chilling realization that their child is the son of Satan!

He is the son of the Devil, a plague upon humanity, whose reign of dark fury has been the subject of prophecy since ancient times - and his moment has arrived. Viewers are taken deep into the grisly nursery of Satan's spawn when Fox Home Entertainment delivers The Omen unto DVD on October 17, 2006. This gory and terrifying venture into the realization of Mankind's most primeval fear stars Liev Schreiber (The Manchurian Candidate) and Julia Stiles (The Bourne Supremacy) as an American couple whose young son Damien, played by Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick, begins to exhibit strange and unsettling behavior. As this hellish nightmare unfolds, Damien's diabolical machinations of evil begin to surface and the fight to save the world from a horrific end begins. From the petrifying new vision of director John Moore (Flight Of The Phoenix), The Omen also stars Pete Postlethwaite (Dark Water), David Thewlis (Kingdom Of Heaven) and screen legend Mia Farrow (Rosemary's Baby). Featuring additional uncensored gory footage, The Omen DVD includes unflinchingly graphic extended scenes, a gruesome, unrated alternate ending, director, producer and editor commentary, Omenisms, Abby Road sessions, featurettes and more.
