Formed Northern California in 1993, Papa Roach is comprised of Jacoby Shaddix, Jerry Horton, Dave Buckner, and Tobin Esperance. They made their recording debut with the 1994 EP "Potatoes For Christmas" followed by their full-length debut "Old Friends From Young Years" and two more indie EP's. Their second full-length CD "Infest" (2000) went triple-platinum, powered by the mega-hit single "Last Resort." With their 2002 CD, "lovehatetragedy," the band scored a #2 debut on the Billboard Top 200 Album Chart and a coveted slot on Eminem's Anger Management Tour.

Papa Roach started writing the now platinum “Getting Away With Murder” on the road last year, and finished when they got back home to Sacramento. The album, produced by Howard Benson (P.O.D., Blindside, Hoobastank), spawned several hits, including the title track and the anthemic, Top-40 smash, "Scars."

The band is currently in pre-production for the follow-up to “Getting Away With Murder” in a house in Los Angeles. At the top of the year, they will hit the studio with Benson to record the tracks for the album.

To date, the band has sold over 5 million records in the U.S.
