Synopsis:

Robert Carlyle (Trainspotting) and Tom Wilkinson (The Last Kiss) lead a hilarious cast in this "irresistible tale" (The New York Times) which is now bursting at the seams with gi-normous special features, making it the definitive Full Monty package! With two commentary tracks, ten never-before-seen deleted scenes, ten all-new featurettes and much more, this is not just an "engrossing study of the male ego stripped bare" (USA Today), it's a "comedy that bares its soul...and more" (Time)! When the steel mills of Sheffield, England are closed, Gaz (Carlyle) and thousands of other workers are left unemployed and unsure of their roles as men. Depressed and facing a custody battle for his son, Gaz happens across a show of male strippers...and the answer to his problems is laid bare! Recruiting a ragtag group of friends into an unsightly stripper group, Gaz is putting on a show of his own to get his life back on track. But to ensure their performance is a firm success, the men will have to leave it all on the stage!

Stripped down and pumped up with an impressive line-up of meat-and-potatoes bonus materials, The Full Monty bares it all with the two-disc Fully Exposed Edition, taking the stage on DVD March 6 from Fox Home Entertainment. Showcasing the impressive length of the development process as well as the breadth and depth of the production itself, the comprehensive bonus materials on The Full Monty: The Fully Exposed Edition demonstrate the work - and play - that went into making this small film such a resounding international crowd-pleaser. Launching the career of Robert Carlyle (Eragon, The World is Not Enough) and co-starring Tom Wilkinson (In the Bedroom, Batman Begins) and Mark Addy (The Order, Around the World in 80 Days), The Full Monty won Oscar® for its original score, and earned additional nominations for Best Picture, Best Director (Peter Cattaneo) and Best Original Screenplay (Simon Beaufoy).

The two-disc special edition DVD includes two audio commentary tracks; deleted scenes with optional commentary; trailers and featurettes from the original theatrical campaign; the Music Machine, which allows viewers to skip to their favorite musical/dance sequences within the film, comprehensive development and production featurettes and a retrospective look at the British film industry in the 1990s. The Full Monty: The Fully Exposed Edition DVD is available for the suggested retail price of $19.98 U.S./$25.98 Canada.
