Garfield, America’s favorite lazy, lasagna-loving fat cat takes center stage in the $70 million box office feature-length, live-action adventure in Garfield The Movie, debuting from Fox Home Entertainment on DVD and sell-thru VHS October 19. In one of the highest grossing kids’ films of the summer, Garfield (voiced by Bill Murray) is livin’ large and making wisecracks – until he realizes his owner, Jon Arbuckle (Breckin Meyer from “Married to the Kellys”, Rat Race) is falling for a veterinarian played by Jennifer Love Hewitt, (I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Tuxedo), which is when the fur really begins to fly! Garfield’s crazy antics and lazy attitude have made him one of the most popular kids characters ever, and with the assistance of state-of-the-art Computer Graphics Imagery (CGI) technology, he is smugly set to make his DVD film debut. Garfield The Movie is available on DVD for $29.98 US/$41.98 Canada and for $19.98 US/ $25.98 Canada on VHS. Prebook is September 15, 2004.
