According to Variety Convergence Entertainment has nabbed the rights to turn the comics Gungrave and Lone Wolf into feature films.

The company wants to make both movies as live-action films with budgets somewhere in the $30 million-$35 million range.

Gungrave which is owned by Red Entertainment and was initially created by Japanese manga author Yasuhiro Nightow. The comic follows a lone figure who moves through the ranks of the crime world. He is killed by his best friend and then brought back to life to inflict mortal pain on those who did him harm.

The property was the basis of an animated series that ran 26-episodes. Two versions of the game came out for the Sony PlayStation.

Lone Wolf is based on 28 books that were published in the early 1980s. It was created by British author Joe Dever and takes place in an "alternate medieval world." It follows a warrior who goes up against creatures and armies that were killed but no longer dead. His main goal is kill the dark lords that destroyed his home.
