The question as to who will be cast in George Miller's Justice League of America remains in the forefront of the minds of most fans. While we continue to wonder and wait, we are at least able to let you know who will be creating the costumes and effects for the DC Comic superstars. Obsessed With Film has learned the identities of both the principal costume designer and the special effects houses who will be bringing the heroes to the screen.

Marit Allen (Brokeback Mountain) has been brought on board as costume designer for the film. She brings with her some experience in clothing superhumans - she previously designed the costumes for Ang Lee's Hulk.

WETA Digital is bidding with other houses to do the visual effects work for Justice League of America. They've already got an agreement in place with Animal Logic (The Matrix, Happy Feet) to handle some of the visual effects work. Additionally, they've brought Sony Pictures Imageworks (Spider-Man, Superman Returns, Beowulf) on as principal designer, with Ken Ralston acting as visual effects supervisor. Ralston is a four-time Oscar winner.

Justice League of America is shooting for a 2010 release date.
