Frozen River writer-director Courtney Hunt has signed on for her next project: an adaptation of the 1999 French feature Ressources Humaines (Human Resources), at Focus Features. Hunt is currently penning the script.

According to Variety, Hunt's film will be set in contemporary America while following the original film's template. The storyline involves a young man who returns to his home town to take a management position at a local factory. After being charged with making personnel changes, he must examine his feelings about what it means to be in management.
