Batman: Gotham Knight is coming to DVD soon - just in time to help answer fan questions about what happens between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. The good folks over at Batman: Yesterday, Today and Beyond have gotten their hands on an image of what the cover art will look like for the direct-to-DVD animated feature.

Batman: Gotham Knight explores the time between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight. With stories written by several of the most talented writers of film, comic books, and animation, including Josh Olson, David S. Goyer, Jordan Goldberg, and award-winning comics writers Greg Rucka and Brian Azzarello, the film presents thrilling new adventures of Batman that spotlight several of Gotham City's most dangerous villains, including the fearsome Scarecrow, the freakish Killer Croc and the unnerving marksman known as Deadshot.

Batman: Gotham Knight will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray Disc on July 8, 2008.
