It seems that a new horror remake might have found a director. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that director Craig Gillespie (Lars and the Real Girl) is in talks to direct the horror remake Fright Night.

Gillespie would be directing from a script by Marti Noxon, which will be an updated version of the 1985 cult classic film that Tom Holland directed. It was said that the new film will have the main character discovering that his neighbors are vampires.

No production schedule was released for the film.
