Lost writer Craig Rosenberg has picked up two new projects, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The writer has his eye on Second Sight, taking on the screenplay for Universal's adaptation of the popular U.K. TV series.

He also is set to make his directorial debut with apocalyptic mystery The Panopticon.

Second Sight centers on a detective who is losing his sight and must employ other skills to solve murders. Don Murphy and Susan Montford are on board to produce the film.

The 1990s BBC production ran in the U.K. as two sets of miniseries over two years.

The Panopticon centers on a medical salesman who receives a mysterious videotape from himself telling him the world will end and that he must stop it. Lorenzo di Bonaventura is set to produce. Rosenberg will direct from his own script.
