On July 29th Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment will release David Cronenberg's Spider on DVD. The release looks to be a nice one, with an audio commentary track by David Cronenberg, three featurettes: Caught in the Spider's Web, In the Beginning, and Weaving the Web, filmographies and trailers. In addition to Cronenberg's latest, Better Than Sex will also be released, but will only contain filmographies and trailers. Both of these films will be presented in anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1. Retail price is $24.95 for each.

Also debuting on DVD on the 29th are a few catalogue titles from Columbia TriStar. I Love You to Death, The Whole Wide World and Loving will contain anamorphic widescreen transfers, but the only extra on these discs will be trailers. I Love You to Death will also come in a full frame version for those who dislike the widescreen look. Retail price is $24.95 for each.
