Batman's greatest ally against the forces of darkness may not be Commissioner Gordon or Harvey Dent, but instead it might be his marketing allies. Movie Marketing Madness has provided a listing of some of the businesses partnering with Warner Bros to cross promote this summer's The Dark Knight.

The list of partners includes such big names as Hershey, Nokia, General Mills, Comcast, Microsoft Xbox, Giorgio Armani, the California Milk Processor Board and Domino's Pizza.

Some of these partners, such as Armani, will have products featured in the film. Others will incorporate Batman images into their advertising and point-of-sale promotional materials.

Additionally, some of the partners will be creating new The Dark Knight-related products. For example, Hershey is releasing a new Bat-symbol shaped dark Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, while Microsoft and Nokia are creating Batman-themed versions of their phones and video-game consoles.

The Dark Knight opens on July 18, 2008, and stars Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart and Maggie Gylenhall.
