ABC is bringing the BBC series Dance X to American television. According to Variety, Dancing with the Stars judges Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba will be the stars of this new dance off competition.
The program revolves around a quest to find people who can sing and dance. The good ones will be formed into a super group. ABC's version will focus on an assortment of musical genres and dance styles. A lot of the show's focus will be on the rivalry between Inaba and Tonioli. Instead of being judges, they will be coaches, each of which will put their own team together.
It's the viewers who will get to choose which team wins. ABC has ordered six episodes of the show so far. They are currently looking at a January airdate.
